My overall mission is to free myself and as many others financially, as I possibly can. That was something I didn't think was possible until a few years ago. Coming from Chicago, born into poverty I saw some pretty low lows but the love that surrounded me was priceless. Raised by a single father of 3 who worked 2 - 3 jobs from 14 years of age until he retired October of 2021 at 64, he showed me exactly what a hard days work is all about.

Seeing how hard he worked and how little time he had to spend with me and my siblings I knew I didn't want to reflect that in the future. I also knew I didn't want to repeat the cycle of poverty for another generation. Financial literacy wasn't taught in my household growing up and after making over a dozen money mistakes in my late teens and early twenties I decided to get educated.

Throughout my journey I learned and retained new info every step of the way! From 2016 to 2022 I managed to pay off $33,000 of debt which was mostly student loans and that allowed me to be completely debt free for the first time in my adult life. I also save my first $10,000 emergency fund, increased my credit score from a 495 to an 814, as well as closed on my very first house! As a husband an father of 2, nothing fulfills me more than providing for them to the best of my ability!

I'm the Founder & CEO of Helping Hands Financial, LLC. I've been in the financial industry in the last 12 years. I'm originally from Somalia. My family migrated to Chicago, Illinois when I was just 4 years old.

I come from a single mother that raised 4 kids in the rough streets of Chicago. She was a hard worker, but lacked financial education, so she lived paycheck to paycheck her entire life, which in turn, got me to live paycheck to paycheck as well when I grew up.

But along the way, I decided to turn my life around. I finally understood that if I wanted to succeed in life, I needed to understand financial literacy. So I decided to get educated on finances, taxes, and credit.

Since then, I've been able to start many different successful businesses simply because I understood the financial game. And once I was able to build wealth, I then started helping other people that were struggling with understanding their finances.

If I was able to stop living paycheck to paycheck by simply understanding money management, then you can do it too! Our company has helped so many Americans achieve not only wealth but also obtain home ownership, auto loans, business loans, etc. My mission in life is to educate as many people as possible about financial literacy.
